Sentiment Divergence Briefing
A ninety-minute prepared session that places institutional positioning beside retail sentiment on a market you choose, then sets watchpoints for the days ahead.
Request this briefingWho it is for
This briefing suits wealth managers preparing client commentary, family offices reviewing a concentrated holding, and private investors who already follow the market but want an independent comparison of institutional versus retail tone before they act.
What you receive
We prepare a focused read on one market or tightly related pair — for example a FTSE sector, a sterling cross, or a UK rates-sensitive basket. The session covers:
- Where institutional positioning currently leans (futures, fund surveys, and published desk commentary we can cite)
- How retail sentiment appears through brokerage heat maps, options activity favoured by smaller accounts, and public message tone
- Where the two sides diverge, and what historically followed similar splits in that market
- A short list of watchpoints and invalidation levels for the coming sessions
You leave with spoken conclusions and a one-page written summary sent the same day.
What is not included
We do not place orders, manage portfolios, or issue personalised investment recommendations under regulated advice rules. The briefing is analytical market commentary for your own decision-making. We also do not cover cryptocurrency tokens or illiquid private placements.
How the session runs
- You send the market, any constraints (holding size band, time horizon, events you care about), and preferred delivery mode.
- We confirm scope and fee, then prepare for two working days.
- We meet for ninety minutes. The first hour is the prepared comparison; the final half-hour is your questions.
- The one-page summary follows by email within four hours.
Preparation we ask of you
Share any existing thesis you are testing and the decision you face (add, reduce, wait, hedge). If you prefer we work blind to your thesis, say so — we will still ask for the market and horizon.
Fees and next step
Fees start at £780 for a single-market briefing. Cross-asset or multi-sector scopes are quoted before we begin. Request this briefing and we will reply with the next available slots.
